THE ONLY WAY TO GET RID OF DEBT IS TO PAY, AND THE ONLY WAY TO GET RID OF TROUBLES IS TO DİE: DEBT IN CLASSICAL TURKISH POETRY


Bu çalışmada, klasik Türk şiiri ile sosyal hayat arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymak amacıyla, borçla ilgili terim ve kavramlarla ilgili bilgiler verilmiş ve klasik Türk şiirindeki yansıması olan şiir örnekleri üzerinde durulmuştur.

İnsanoğlu, tarihin başlangıcından bu yana her devirde borçlanma ya da borç alıp verme hususunda çeşitli sorunlarla uğraşmak zorunda kalmış ve hep bir mücadele içinde olmuştur. Çoğu zaman üstesinden gelinemeyen bir sorun olarak güncelliğini koruyan borç alıp verme ya da borçlanma durumu dünya var oldukça da devam edecektir.

Yaşadığı toplumun bir ferdi olarak hayattan kendini uzak tutmayan klasik Türk edebiyatı şairleri, borç konusuna karşı kayıtsız kalmamışlar; çoğu zaman kişiye dert, keder, üzüntü, maddi ve manevi sıkıntı veren borçları ve borçla ilgili yaşananları, eserlerine yansıtmışlar; bazen gerçek bazen mecazî anlamlarıyla borçlanmak, borcu taksitle ödemek, borcunu ipotek etmek, borcunu rehine bırakmak, borca karşılık takas etmek, borca karşılık senet vermek veya almak, borcun faizi, borçluya ödeme emri göndermek, borçluya verilen hapis cezası gibi borçla ilgili kavram ve terimleri şiirlerinde kullanmışlardır.

Bazı şairler, borç alıp vermenin olumsuzluklara sebebiyet vermesinden dolayı insanları uyarmış; devrin insanına, bozulan dünya düzenine, toplumun aksayan yönlerine dikkat çekmek istemişlerdir. Bazı şairler de borçla ilgili kavram ve terimleri şiirlerinde kullanırken divan şiirinin geleneğinden, anlam dünyasından yararlanmış; bazen canını sevgiliye feda eden âşık ile borçlu; sevgili ile alacaklı arasında bazen de alacaklı olan âşık ile borcunu umursamayan sevgili arasında ilgi kurmuşlardır.

Bu çalışmada, klasik Türk şiiri ile sosyal hayat arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymak amacıyla, borçla ilgili terim ve kavramlarla ilgili bilgiler verilmiş ve klasik Türk şiirindeki yansıması olan şiir örnekleri üzerinde durulmuştur.

Abstract
Human beings have had to deal with various problems regarding being debtors and creditors in every period since the beginning of history and they have always been in a struggle. The borrowing or borrowing situation, which remains up-to-date as a problem that cannot be overcome, will continue as long as the world exists. Classical Turkish literature poets, who do not keep themselves away from life as a member of the society they live in, did not remain indifferent to the subject of debt in their poems and sometimes used real and sometimes figurative concepts and terms related to debt in their poems. Some poets are sometimes literal and sometimes figurative in terms of debt, such as borrowing, paying the debt in installments, mortgaging the debt, pawning the debt, exchanging the debt, taking notes for debt, interest of debt, sending a payment order to the debtor, imprisonment or dungeon penalty. They used the terms in their poems. Some poets warned people that borrowing and lending causes negativity; they wanted to draw attention to the people of the times, the deteriorating world order, and the failing aspects of society. Some poets also benefited from the tradition and the world of meaning of divan poetry while using concepts and terms related to debt in their poems; sometimes the debtor with the lover who sacrificed his life to the lover; They have established an interest between the lover and the creditor, and sometimes between the creditor, the lover, and the lover, who does not care about his debt. In this study, in order to reveal the relationship between classical Turkish poetry and social life, information about terms and concepts related to debt is given and examples of poetry that are its reflection in classical Turkish poetry are emphasized.
