KANUNİ SULTAN SÜLEYMAN’IN ALAMAN SEFERİ’NE DAİR YENİ BİR METİN
New Text About The Alaman Expedition of Suleyman The Magnificent

Kanuni Sultan Süleyman devri özellikle Batı yönündeki fetih hareketleri
bakımından dikkate değer bir dönemdir. Bu fetihlere paralel
olarak çok sayıda kaynak eser kaleme alınmıştır. Bu çalışmaya konu
olan metin de Sultan Süleyman’ın 1532 yılında gerçekleştirdiği Alaman
seferi hakkında olup, ilk defa bu çalışma vesilesiyle araştırmacılara
tanıtılmaktadır. Makalede öncelikle metnin Süleymaniye Kütüphanesi,
M. Arif - M. Murad bölümünde numara 238’de yer alan nüshası
tanıtılmıştır. Daha sonra -ne yazmada ne de kütüphane kataloğunda
eserin yazarına dair bilgi bulunmadığı için- eserin, dönemin tarihçilerinden
Celalzâde Salih Çelebi, Celalzâde Mustafa Çelebi, Bostan
Çelebi ya da Matrâkçı Nasuh’a ait olup olamayacağı sorusuna cevap
aranmış, müellife dair çıkarımlarda bulunulmuştur. Sonrasında eserde
verilen bilgiler göz önünde bulundurularak metnin kaleme alındığı
zaman dilimi tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Eserin muhtevası, Alaman
seferinin sebepleri, fethedilen kaleler, diğer kaynaklara göre eserde bulunan
farklı bilgiler hakkında malumat verildikten sonra, eserin tarihî
kaynak olarak kıymetine dair bir değerlendirme yapılmaya çalışılmıştır.
Çalışmanın sonunda metnin transkripsiyonuna yer verilmiştir.

The period of Kanuni Sultan Suleyman was particularly a remarkable period in termsof conquering activities towards to the West. In parallel to these conquests large numbersof documents were written. The text that is presented in this paper for the first time isabout the German expedition of Kanuni. In this study, firstly, copy of the text, which islocated in Suleymaniye Library M.Arif-M.Murad number 238, was introduced. Afterthat –due to the inadequate information about the author of the text in manuscript andlibrary catalog- it was tried to answer the following question that whether the text maybelong to the historians of the period; Celalzade Salih Celebi, Celalzade Mustafa Celebi,Bostan Celebi or Matrakcı Nasuh and made inferences about the author of text. Then,taking into account the information given in the text, creation date of the text was tried todetermine. Before discussing the value of the work as a source of the history, the content ofthe work, causes of German expedition, conquered castles, differences of the text accordingto other sources, were studied. At the end of the study translation of text is examined.
